Asociatia Global Help
Global Help Association is a NGO located in Romania, South-West region, with over 20 years of experience in social field, being a CVT (continuous vocational training) authorized provider in conformity with EO 129/2000 - national legislation. In over 20 years of activity, the association has developed large-scale non-profit projects, in 3 major directions: vocational training for adults (for the professions/ qualifications of elderly caregiver and retail worker), primary social services (for thousands of beneficiaries, most of them from vulnerable groups) and projects in the field of migration, by establishing 9 years ago the Center for Migrants Information in Craiova, which so far serves about 500 beneficiaries/year (migrants – as beneficiaries of a form of social protection).
It was involved in large, medium- and long-term projects, addressing topics such as adult vocational training, children education, events for cultural diversity, occupations for unemployed, equity for women, the promotion of social actions of solidarity, mutual direct support for immigrants and combating discrimination of any kind. GLOBAL HELP ASSOCIATION holds a national accreditation as a provider of social services and it delivered such services free of charge to thousands of beneficiaries, such as Roma teenagers at risk, the elderly, women victims of trafficking, immigrants, victims of the Holocaust etc. We worked both with adult learners and vulnerable people such unemployed people, Roma people, EU migrants from third countries, women victims of trafficking etc.
Our experts have experience working with the unemployed and inactive persons (more than 200 persons), employees in former industrialized areas (more than 400), women (over 200 subject most often to situations of discrimination in the labor market), immigrants from third countries EU (more than 600 distinct people assisted over the past 9 years), people willing to open a small business (through National Programme of Rural Development, 150 small farmers and subsistence farms), Roma people (over 400). Thus, our association is familiar with design and implementation of integrated measures to different beneficiaries to obtain maximum results in terms of regaining confidence and self-esteem, social status and employability after a long period of absence in labor market.
Currently, we just finished to build a social day center for seniors near Craiova city (in Malu Mare village), due to a European financing grant (POR-Regional Operational Program). The financing amount (with a total value of 2.255.948 lei, which represents more than 490.000 euro) covered the expanding of physical infrastructure and purchasing state-of-the-art equipment for physiotherapy for elders as direct beneficiaries. The day center is currently in process of authorization under Social Assistance Law No. 292/2011 with all amendments and completions. In 2015 due to the financing contracts developed, the Association had 32 employees with different specialization: project management, HR, training, research on migrants, financial and acquisitions.
In 2020 we had a permanent staff of 6 experts and 12 active volunteers with contract and specific activities assigned. Currently have 8 employees with contract and a number of 47 volunteers with registered contracts. The team includes experts with specialization and various professions: trainers (experienced in working with adults), psychologists, doctors, social workers with higher education, physiotherapist, communication and public relations expert, lawyer, sociologists, trainers for language courses in Romanian and English for migrants (we teach Romanian to our beneficiaries - migrants for third Eu countries). Generally, we train every year more than 80 adults in specific qualifications or specializations recognized in European Union.

Furthermore, Euroform RFS promotes research and development initiatives in the education sector to continuously test innovative teaching methods and tools. This approach ensures that the training programs are always up-to-date and responsive to the needs of the labor market and society.

The UCV has 122 ERASMUS partners and other 25 partners from Europe, Africa, Asia, North America and South America. The University of Craiova carries out strategic and operational partnerships with representatives of the socio-economic and cultural environment (SMEs, multinational companies, banks, public institutions, museums, theatres, etc.),meant to ensure a solid practical training of students.

Nursing Home "Nadejda" established in 2011 in Sofia is specialized in providing of social services and care for elderly. The nursing homes (currently 2 ones) with 70 places function as day care centers or hospices for elderly, people with dementia or severe condition, providing 24-hours qualified care and rehabilitation services in comfortable environment.
The guiding principles of Nursing home „Hope” are creating comfortable environment closely resembling the homelike feeling; providing quality social and health services; respect and tolerance towards elderly people, having strongly in mind that everyone deserves to live happily and dignified.
The aim of the organization is to set up more centers throughout the country, thus to reach and respond to a wider range of people in difficulty by providing daily care, active medical treatment, proper communication and social interaction for elderly, retirees, severely ill, underwent surgery people, people with dementia, long obsolete.
To help implementation of the goals home “Hope” envisages conducting of relevant researches; training; social &health projects locally and internationally; creation of information tech projects. We have full time employees with complementary specializations.
Home Hope Ltd is a participant and partner in two international projects in the field of social activities related to the elderly in partnership with Spain, Italy, Romania, Ireland, Poland, Lithuania, United Kingdom.
